Our gardens arrive planted in our bulb pans and then nestled into the pictured decorative outer pot:

Our 8-inch bulb pans are 4 inches tall, 8 inches wide at the top, and 6.75 inches wide at the bottom.

Our 10-inch bulb pans are about 5 inches tall, 10 inches wide at the top, and 8 inches wide at the bottom.

Our 12-inch pans are about 6 inches tall, 12 inches wide at the top, and 9.5 inches wide at the bottom.

We start your flowers in a special nursery bulb pan, made to keep roots happy and healthy. Its shallow shape lets air flow around the bulbs, so there’s less chance of soggy roots or rot.

To get ready for blooming, the bulbs go through a chilly 'fake winter' in our coolers — yep, just like a nap for plants! After about 16 weeks, they’re ready to sprout.

Then, we tuck the bulb pan into a stylish decorative pot (a cachepot or overpot in industry terms) and send it off to you, ready to bloom in its new home.

Your Happiness Blooms garden will arrive with early shoots showing, as they start to push through the soil. You'll get to watch the growth process, buds emerging, and blooms unfolding.

Bloom Tracker is our customized email and text program with week-by-week helpful tips and expected progress updates for every phase of your bulb garden’s growth (kind of like a baby tracker, but for your flower garden!). You don't need it to successfully grow your flower bulbs, but we figured we'll hold your hand through the growth process, from sprout to bloom.

Bloom Tracker includes information on:

• What will happen as your plant grows (like answering questions ahead of time, such as, "Are my shoots supposed to be white?" Yes, they are upon arrival!);
• Reminders on when and how much to water (so you don't have to guess);

No gardening experience necessary! We do it all for you.

How? We plan ahead. At least 16 weeks before they ship, we plant our bulbs and place them in a  - a process typically called "forcing" but we prefer to call is gently coaxing.

Typically, tulips won't start to bloom until March; several varieties can bloom into June. Our Potted Bulb Gardens can be grown indoors starting in January!

We do extensive testing to ensure you are getting the potted bulb varieties that will give you the best results.
